It’s that time of year! Beautiful, colorful leaves. Expressing gratitude and love to those you care about. Apple picking. Heading to the pumpkin patch. It’s fall!

It’s also the time of year when we frequently enjoy big meals and decadent treats with our family and friends. There is so much food and eating surrounding Thanksgiving. (And I’m definitely not complaining.)
The holidays in general are typically a time for indulgence – which, in my book, is totally okay! But when you prefer to indulge in real, whole foods and not the processed, sugar-loaded recipes…well, options can be scarce!
To me, healthy recipes don’t need to mean a pile of kale sprinkled with nutritional yeast (though…that doesn’t sound half bad, honestly!)
